The ACW will be holding a Fellowship Meeting with the Presbyterian Church ladies on Wednesday, October 24 at 7:30 p.m. in the parish hall to assemble kit bags for the Women’s Correctional Centre in Clarenville. Ladies are asked to bring a few items to put in the bags. The items are toothpaste (less than 95 ml), toothbrushes (can be regular size), travel size shampoo, conditioner, body wash, deodorant and tissues. Entertainment and lunch will follow after our activity. ALL LADIES are welcomed to come to this Fellowship Meeting.
The Jumble Sale will be held this Saturday, October 27 from 9 – 12 noon. Donations can be dropped off at the church on October 26. Big electronics, furniture or broken items will not be accepted. All other items must be in good condition.

The Crohns & Colitis of Canada, Exploits Valley Chapter, will be hosting a Hot Roast Beef Dinner at the Royal Canadian Legion, Queen Street on November 18 from 12 noon – 1:30 p.m. You may Eat In or Take Out. The Cantus Silva GFW Women’s Choir Concert, under the direction of Michael Snelgrove, presents the First Annual Christmas Concert at Holy Trinity Anglican Church on Wednesday, November 28 starting at 7:30 p.m. Admission $15. The concert will feature Justin Poirier, Madison Braye, Michael Snelgrove and members of the Cantus Silva Women’s Choir. Tickets are available from members of the GFW Women’s Choir and at the door. Welcoming all ladies to Mrs. Claus Café, Wednesday, December 12. Fruit cake, cookies, gingerbread, tea, coffee, hot chocolate mixed in with a few Christmas traditions for sure. Café doors (E.M.
